My name is jacob

I grew up in Lansing, Michigan, and since a young age, I have been creating and expressing myself through media. I started using cameras when I was 13, and developed a strong passion for photography that turned into freelancing for a number of years. After high school, I began to look more towards film and television. I graduated from MSU in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Communications with a focus in Film and Television Production, as well as a Bachelor’s in Arts and Humanities. I have been very lucky to have been able to work on several larger productions, both within MSU and with various creative agencies in the Lansing and Detroit area. I currently work at MSU as an Associate Visuals Producer for University Communications. Both on personal projects, and in working with clients, I have a great deal of experience with a variety of creative mediums, and a wide array of creative technology and software. Media has always been an important part of my life and an essential way of expression for me. I am always looking for new connections and experiences in media production.
